Update: MoneroKon 2026 Recap
Just got back from MoneroKon 2026 in Warsaw. Amazing event - the privacy scene has evolved significantly.
Key takeaways:
- Genuine curiosity about what’s being built beyond payments
- Good conversations with builders and researchers
Community Partner status didn’t work out this time, but attending independently was still incredibly valuable for building relationships and understanding the landscape.
Recommendation for future events:
We should aim to have Tari builders showcasing live dApps at future MoneroKon iterations. A demo speaks louder than a partnership badge.
Will continue coordinating community presence at privacy-focused events. Next up: planning for MoneroKon 2027.
Cake Wallet update:
Got acquainted with one of the Cake Wallet devs - he basically said XTM integration is coming soon. Having an exchange with him to narrow down what’s needed on our end. Will post if I have an update.
