Clew: a small, private Tari wallet for Mac

I made a lightweight Mac wallet for XTM. It runs Tari’s own wallet library and sends everything over Tor (built in), so no node to run and nothing leaves your Mac outside Tor.

  • create or restore wallets from your 24 words, keep as many as you want
  • one-sided payments, QR codes, payment references
  • password encrypted, optional Touch ID
  • only talks to the node you pick, no accounts, no analytics

It also has a TARI side for Ootle. It works on Ootle’s testnet now in Clew Testnet (included), and I’m planning to switch it on for mainnet when Ootle launches.

Apple Silicon, macOS 14+. Open source, security reviewed, not independently audited yet.

macOS will block it the first time since it isn’t notarized: System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway. Feedback welcome!
