Naveen has already been acting as a Core Contributor as the leader of Tari Labs. As the founder of Tari Labs he has been involved in every aspect of product development over Tari’s lifetime, from Yats to Tari Universe.
Naveen is highly intelligent, thoughtful, and intentional. He has an eye for design, as is evidenced by his universally well-received work on Tari Universe. He is hyper-focused on achieving and maintaining pixel-perfect design quality and has proven his ability to do so over nearly three decades as a PM.

And the same for Naveen, nothing but love and full respect for what he’s built. But the principle has to apply evenly or it’s not a principle: Council members shouldn’t also hold CC positions.
