He fixed the link after you pointed it out. People make mistakes, there’s no harm done and it was easy to resolve.
There’s simply no need for this kind of admonishment. We’re all trying to work together to build something here, and taking that tone just discourages people from contributing for fear that they’ll be admonished over an innocent error.
The telegram issue was explained as well. There was no way to whitelist some discord links without allowing the harmful links that scammers post, so the Tari Bot was whitelisted and posts the Discord link at an interval instead.
Like i did not already, Ho but wait i’m not allowd anymore ine the writer room, so i can not copy and paste here what i already propose because possum is piss at me because i show everyone how incompetent he is
One of my ideas was to have a weekly Ootle show where every week they talk about one specific template with a new channel in Discord to talk about it after the show, to help bring members to Discord
Even you, when you proposose to have a markething channel and i approuve, he was piss because it was public and not private, HOW THE FUCK DO YOU WANT PEOPLE TO PARTICIPATE IF THEY DON’T HAVE ACCESS TO IT.
Nobody removed you. At least not on purpose. We all thought you did that to yourself after you deleted your messages. I even tried to reach out to you via DM about it and you ignored me.
People won’t want to work with you if you continue this behavior, though.
“More flies with honey” and all that.
That again was a simple misunderstanding. He wasn’t upset, he just literally didn’t know it needed to be a public channel/that it would be private if created under that category. Possum has told everyone multiple times that he isn’t familiar with Discord. You gotta cut him some slack.
And if you recallI fixed that in less than a minute. Again, no harm done.
Why do you answer for him?
If he’s not familiar with Discord, how come he is in charge? It’s not only his knowledge, but it’s also the way he makes his decision, ’ they don’t make sense!
I am not answering for him. You are speaking to and replying to me. He is not here. This is how a conversation works.
It’s clear that you disagree with some of the decisions being made, but do you think this is the best way to go about expressing that? Do you speak to your colleagues at work this way? I assume not, otherwise you would be fired very quickly. We are trying to foster a productive environment here.
Another thing, everyone is talking about the 51% attack on the blockchain, but no one is talking about what will happen if the Electrum X server were down Try sending your coins with a Electrum server down
@Honey_Badger Right now, you’re that person. You’re overly critical of the mistakes of people who are trying their best. You attribute malice to them. You pull people into extended arguments in public, often demanding answers and action they have no power to affect, and instead of trying to understand where people are coming from you label them ‘stupid.’
There are effective ways to provide feedback and criticism. Insulting people and berating them for not seeing things your way just makes people turn against you and the ideas you’re advocating for. You’re actively making them less likely to be followed. Even people who agree with you are less likely to speak up for fear of association with your behavior.
I have silenced your account for one week. Take the time to reflect on your communications style. We’re happy to hear your ideas if you can contribute with grace.
@Honey_Badger you’re clearly living up to your handle You obviously are very passionate about the project but your input isn’t helpful or productive at the moment.
