When are you going to stop procrastinating and fix the SEO/AEO problem?
Hey,
I think the tari labs team is on Vacation.
@luci666 No one is procrastinating. There are things that have to be done first from a project organization standpoint, and as @0xhra mentioned, team members have been on leave. All the developers at Tari Labs are the ones working on the chain and the Universe app. While they have access to work on the Website, itâs not their focus, and hasnât been.
Right now, weâre getting the Core Contributor program running. Once itâs active Iâm expecting we should have someone who can give their attention to the website and start implementing some of the things youâve suggested. Even the relatively modest improvements by Plats are on hold because of ambiguity in process right now, something that should be resolved soon.
I havenât been spending much time replying to your posts on website suggestions for two reasons. The first is that thereâs not much I can do about them right now. The second is that on previous interactions with you, it has been remarkably unpleasant and so I donât want to.
Making big posts accusing everyone of âprocrastinatingâ assumes you understand the full situation and know exactly what everyone else should be doing. Barking orders makes no one want to talk with you. The result is youâre getting stuck in a dead zone of information where you think you know whatâs going on but you do not.
If you instead approached with curiosity, and had some humility about your proposals where youâre asking that not only they be considered but how they can be made better, youâd be more likely to get responses.
Then just fix the problem, and Iâm going to shut up. Do I complain about my other post, no because itâs not really important, but this is, Itâs already been 3 weeks since I showed you the report, and nothing has been done, - all that for a 15-minute fix.
As Fox just explained, it isnât a simple fix because we are still setting up these processes.
Once we have a process for community contributors to submit changes/proposals, hopefully it will be a 15-minute fix. But weâre still working that out.
I understand the frustration. It may feel like we are dragging things out or taking too long, but it is important to get these things right the first time and establish a framework that will last. We are making progress.
Did you know that you lost 60% of your traffic in the last 3 months?
SEO is important because it helps us retrieve information like that.

Hey, hey, please dont tell them what to do! It takes time to build a community organically, even if youve had people complain about their lack of action and knowledge on specific topics constructively and mentioned it in the presence of âcontributorsâ for more than 2 years by now.
They know what theyre doing, very obviously, so calm down! /s
