Hi guys

Maybe we can open a sub category on this forum for yats?
Letβs start with this thread to see what we want to discuss/gauge the level of interest. If thereβs enough interest we can look at adding a category or subcategory.
What would you like to discuss about Yats? ![]()
Id like to be able to use and cusomize my Yats within Tari Universe and the mobile app, associate it as my official tari address and eventually trade yats for Tari with ootle contracts.
+1 on customising Yats within Tari Universe.
Yup, implement yats as the standard default payment addresses within the tari ecosystem..
Show how easy to use yats are !!!

Iβm pretty sure there are still technical hurdles here but yes, I think Yats have a lot more potential than they have been used for so far. Iβm π§ π€π | Imagine. Compute. Launch. #11971 - Yat | OpenSea
I would be interested to understand where Yats currently sit in terms of focus and future implementation.
I am developing a 3D page builder (https://www.id8r.com) that could naturally integrate Yats in some meaningful ways, but from the outside it seems there is not much active focus on progressing them at the moment.
I am not suggesting they should take priority over Ootle. That clearly comes first. But I do think Yats still have a lot of potential value within the Tari ecosystem, particularly as premium wallet addresses in Tari Universe, as well as memorable redirects to pages and other destinations.
It would be useful to get a general sense of the roadmap. When might we realistically see Yats integrated into Tari Universe, and when might existing Yats be able to migrate to Ootle?
Are we talking roughly six months, twelve months, or potentially multiple years? Even a broad indication of whether active work is happening would be helpful.
Google is also about to release ~4,000 3D emoji models, which I could see bringing emojis back into focus across X and elsewhere. It feels like there could be an interesting opportunity there if the infrastructure is ready to take advantage of it.
