I remember a while ago, the idea of an Ootle mcp registry was thrown around. I was super curious where we landed with this?
I feel like right now the pattern I’m noticing is demand for MCP is exploding and people all have their own agents they choose to interact with.
Tari Universe already exposes an MCP server. Could that become THE single MCP connection an agent needs to interact with the Tari ecosystem?
Ideally this would look like:
Your Agent → Tari Universe MCP → discover apps → use apps → pay through the user’s Tari Universe wallet
This could potentially:
- Make discovery of Tari apps easier as they would sit behind one mcp that is accessible to any agent
- Bootstrap a Tari stablecoin
- Reduce a lot of payment friction by letting the agent use the Tari Universe wallet directly
Would love to get your guys take, and any thoughts about this.
