I am nominating @ZhaoXi for the Core Contributor program as a Community CC.

@ZhaoXi has been instrumental in expanding our reach beyond the anglosphere and into the sinosphere. He has worked since the early days in Telegram and the Discord to manage the Chinese community’s development, answer their questions, and coordinate their moderators.

@ZhaoXi 's continued efforts earned him a place on the Tari Council where he currently serves.

Same for Zhao, nothing but love. Same principle applies: Council members shouldn’t also hold CC positions.

  1. Concentration of power, governing and electing shouldn’t sit with the same people
  2. Cleaner accountability when the two bodies stay separate

Voting no, consistent with my reasoning throughout. Nothing personal, purely structural.
